This spacious duplex apartment is one of only three in Chalet Chrysaline, a traditionally designed chalet built new in 2010 and set on the sunny, south facing Isenau slopes above the beautiful village of Les Diablerets. It's sun-soaked balconies face southward over the village and up to the slopes of Meilleret, and also eastward toward Glacier 3000 and the Les Diablerets Massif. The property also has views eastward toward Leysin. 

The property is located about 100m from the Isenau ski slope, enabling ski in/out, and just to the side of the Isenau gondola, which is being upgraded ready for the 18/19 ski season. It is a ten minute walk from the centre of the village, which offers all amenities including supermarkets, bars, restaurants, skating rink, tennis courts and outdoor pool in the summer. 

The primary accommodation is set over two floors. 

On the ground floor, there is a large entrance hall with seating and storage. This opens up into a large, bright living area comprising salon, dining area and kitchen separated by a breakfast bar. Also on the ground floor is a spacious bathroom with WC and walk-in shower. The ground floor has double doors which open onto a very extensive balcony which fully wraps the south and east facing sides of the property. The salon is fitted with a flue, ready to accommodate a wood-burning stove. 

From the ground floor living area, an open staircase leads up to the upper floor. The upper floor comprises three double bedrooms, each with excellent views and access to their own balconies. In addition, there is a large bathroom on the upper floor with WC and bath/shower. All of the rooms have exposed, sloping wood ceilings. 

The property is decorated to a very high standard throughout. There is under-floor heating on both the ground and upper floors, and this is powered by a combination of solar panels and an eco-friendly wood-pellet furnace. The apartment is so well insulated that heating costs are very low.

In addition to the primary accommodation, there is also a large (10 sqm) Cave which is warm and dry and which provides ideal storage for items such as skis, sledges, bikes etc. The Cave also has a shared laundry area which is fitted with a washer and dryer belonging to the apartment. There is a private, individual and lockable garage plus an allocated exterior parking place. 

Chalet Chrysaline benefits from its own grassy garden on all four sides of the property. 

The Les Diablerets skiing comprises the Isenau area, Glacier 3000 (you can ski from Isenau to the bottom of the Glacier 3000 Cable Car) and Meilleret, which links to the extensive skiing areas of Villars and Gryon. In addition, the resorts of Leysin and Les Mosses are about a 15 minute drive away, with Chateau D'Oex and Gstaad about half an hour away. Within about an hour's drive are the resorts of Verbier, Lenk Adelboden, Chamonix, Crans-Montana and the Portes Du Soleil resorts. Les Diablerets is an excellent hub for exploring the skiing of Vaud, Valais and the Bernese Oberland. 

In the summer, the village joins forces with Villars to offer an extraordinary range of activities that are free to visitors spending a night in the resort, including train, bus and ski lift transport, tennis, swimming, archery, high-ropes course, mini-golf and mountain scooter rental. Les Diablerets is as vibrant with life in the summer as in the winter, which is not the case for many ski resorts.
