Yes, your property will have a thorough makeover to create a beautifully designed, furnished and equipped holiday home. Sojourn8 manages this process following completion.
Not at all. As the name suggests, timeshare owners have the right to stay at a property for a fixed week each year, and nothing more. With fractional ownership, you will jointly own your holiday home with a small number of like-minded owners and will have flexible usage of it throughout the year.
The feedback we have received is that most owners prefer privacy for themselves and their family. Therefore, to maintain confidentiality, we do not facilitate contact between owners.
Each property will have a local management company to deal with cleaning, inventory checking, repair and maintenance. Sojourn8 oversees the this work to ensures the highest service levels. Sojourn8 is also responsible for arranging insurance of the property and payment of all outgoings.
No, but you will be free to allow friends and family to use it.
Yes, each owner will have a secure area in which they can store their personal belongings.
Yes, you will be free to sell your share at any time, normally subject to offering it to the other owners first. For some properties, there will be an open market sale after a fixed period - this will be clearly stated in the listing.
Co-ownership of second homes is a growing trend. Offering a property for sale to a small group attracts a wider pool of buyers who may not be found through traditional agents or listing sites. For individual sellers, it also allows you to retain a share in your home - releasing capital and still enabling you to use it as often as you did when you owned it outright.

We have a growing partner agent network who introduce buyers to Sojourn8. We also use online and offline marketing methods including targeted social media, direct marketing to our opted in database of subscribers and some traditional media advertising.
Selling to a small group of buyers is much the same as a traditional sale. Unless you decide to sell individual shares in your property, the sale will proceed when the group is complete.

Not necessarily, but if you sell shares on an ad hoc basis, you will be committing yourself to a fractional sale and will not be able to continue marketing your property for an outright sale.
No. We oversee a thorough makeover of every property but the works are carried out after completion of the sale.
We pay our partner agents a fee of 3% on the share price paid by a buyer they introduce. Where a partner agent introduces a buyer to a group we are forming, we pay a fee of 4%.
Our partner agents receive their fee within 5 working days of the buyer they have introduced closing on their purchase.
We make it very easy for our partner agents. We will handle all enquiries raised by the buyer and will arrange all viewings. We will keep you updated throughout the process all the way up to closure.
We offer a training program to help agents understand co-ownership and sell effectively. They can be delivered either remotely or in person. Please contact us if you are interested.
